ACADEMY ETIQUETTE

Always bow before entering the gym (matted area)
Always bow to your instructors/black belts
Always refer to your instructors as their rank or sir/miss
All students share the responsibility of keeping the Academy safe and clean.
If you are late, kneel down at the edge of the mats and wait for permission to join
Maintain a neat and clean uniform at all times, do NOT wash your belt.
Maintain impeccable hygiene due to the nature of training and for safety reasons
Students must remain quiet and attentive in class and not engage in idle, unnecessary chatter. This is especially important when instructors are teaching.
Students are not allowed on the mat area in street attire during any class sessions.
Hats, outdoor shoes, or jewelry are prohibited in the mat area. The Academy does not hold itself responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen items.
Do not abuse your knowledge of martial arts. Martial arts should only be used to protect yourself and others.
